桂林大榕樹(千年古榕) 位于漓江風(fēng)景區(qū)內(nèi)，名“穿巖古榕”。為田園風(fēng)光最佳處。陽(yáng)朔城南7.5千米的高田鄉(xiāng)穿巖村金寶河南岸，有一棵古榕樹冠呈圓形，遠(yuǎn)望是一把綠色巨傘，近看盤根錯(cuò)節(jié)，葉茂蔽天。傳為晉代所植，距今已有1500多年樹齡。古樹下，金寶河緩緩而流，明凈如鏡。

　　樹圍有七米多，高達(dá)十七米，枝繁葉茂，濃蔭蔽天，所蓋之地有一百多平方米。雖然樹干老態(tài)龍鐘，盤根錯(cuò)節(jié)，但仍然生機(jī)勃勃。在電影《劉三姐》里，劉三姐就是在這棵樹下向阿牛哥吐露心聲，拋出傳情繡球的。

古樹下，金寶河緩緩而流，明凈如鏡。對(duì)岸有一座小山，中間的山洞是透空的，就像一座石門，可以讓人隨意穿行，因此得名"穿巖"。在榕樹和穿巖之間有個(gè)渡口，人稱"榕蔭古渡"。在穿巖的臨河處有一塊石頭，頗像一只胖乎乎的小熊正在爬山。于是民歌唱道："金鉤掛山頭，青蛙水上浮，小熊滿山跑，古榕伴清流。“榕蔭古渡”為陽(yáng)朔著名古景。
