Located in the southwest of Sichuan Province, the capital of the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Xichang, is more than 400 kilometers from Chengdu. Featuring little rainfall all year round, the area has attracted the Chinese aerospace industry to position a launch center here, which is now open to visitors. Travelers to the area can also visit Qionghai Lake, Mount Lushan, Mount Luoji, Huangliantulin, Lugo Lake, Mahn Lake, and Yihai Lake. 螺髻山：

套票215元（包括門票65元，上下山大巴20元，上下山索道130元）纜車單程45分鐘。距西昌市約40多公里，路況尚好，自駕車約一小時車程，自駕往普格方向約40多公里，或到旅游客運站乘到普格或螺髻山景區(qū)班車，費用來回約40元每人，節(jié)假日螺髻山景區(qū)人多，須盡早出行，螺髻山海拔最高四千多米，平均海拔三千米，山上溫度與市區(qū)溫度相差10度左右，出行須帶厚外套，景區(qū)吃的少，最好自帶干糧，下景區(qū)如天色晚，可看見滿天繁星，5—6月萬畝杜鵑花開，螺髻山為古冰川遺跡，山上深潭淺灘瀑布冰川眾多，景色優(yōu)美，景區(qū)停車場有正宗的烤乳豬，記得一定要吃哦，5—10元一塊分大小。

大漕河溫泉瀑布：

門票40元。往普格方向約50公里，路線同螺髻山一樣，到螺髻山鎮(zhèn)以后，直走往大漕河，普格方向，右轉上螺髻山景區(qū)，路于螺髻山鎮(zhèn)分道。乘車同上。坐大巴提醒司機大漕河溫泉下。溫泉雖多，成瀑的罕見，溫泉瀑布可尋，落下還有溫度的極其罕見。值得一去。

邛海：

四川第2大淡水湖，亞洲第一濕地，邛海位于西昌市區(qū)東南側，城市含湖，湖即城市。節(jié)假日建議騎自行車前往。其中邛海濕地必去，還在完善，所以無需門票。月亮灣必去。青龍寺下新沙灘必去。月色風情小鎮(zhèn)可以去轉轉。

禮州古鎮(zhèn)：

蘇祁縣”，位于西昌市北部，，距西昌僅23公里，地域35平方公里田地開闊，是西昌市稻麥黍薯及經濟作物主要區(qū)之一。可在西昌大成車站乘直達禮州的公交車或乘西昌至月華、瑯環(huán)、冕寧方向車輛到禮州車站下車。車程約40分鐘。自駕車,（1）自西昌經機場路、興勝鄉(xiāng)至禮州。車程約40分鐘。（2）自西昌上瀘黃高速路到禮州出口下車，車程約20分鐘。鎮(zhèn)多為清代建筑，磚木或土木結構。明亮的天井，高大的風火墻，彎曲的美人靠，精巧的吊腳樓象征著不同祖籍工匠的建筑文化特色。走進禮州民居小院，但見小青瓦覆蓋的屋面，穿

衛(wèi)星發(fā)射基地：

西昌衛(wèi)星發(fā)射中心"英文名稱Xichang Satellite LaunchCenter"始建于1970年，于1982 年交付使用，位于西昌以北約60公里的地方，從西昌出發(fā)約1小時可抵達，無直達班車前往，最好是參加當地旅行社的散客團，每? ??約200元左右（含門票及車費），參觀約需時間1小時到1.5小時，主要參觀點有2號及3號發(fā)射架（1號發(fā)射架后來放棄未修建，是準備用來發(fā)射載人宇宙飛船的，后改為在酒泉發(fā)射）。之后再參觀一個長征三號火箭的實體，最后參觀衛(wèi)星發(fā)射及控制中心（一般是通過看錄像來了解發(fā)射的過程）。如果自行前往，別忘了帶證件，否則是不允許參觀的。參觀時一般都可以拍照。
